Just Moved In? Rekey First
When you move into a house or apartment, you have no idea how many copies of the old keys are out there. Rekeying changes the inside of the lock so none of them work anymore, and you get a fresh set. It's usually cheaper than buying new locks.
- Homeowners: We'll rekey every outside door, so one new key works them all if you want.
- Renters: Check your lease first. Many leases say the landlord must approve lock changes.
- Landlords and managers: Rekeying between tenants is quick, and we'll need to see that you own or manage the unit.
